We offer a menu of services, and our estate agent Margaret Lamond can discuss these with you.  The basic service includes the preparation of a marketing plan, the erection of a “for sale” sign and the preparation of a schedule of particulars with photographs. 

The schedule of particulars in its simplest form is normally printed on quality paper and we can also produce booklets or folded brochures. 

We have a range of styles available to suit different houses.

Our charges are in three parts:  a marketing fee, advertising/publicity and a commission.  VAT is payable on all.  A good marketing plan involves advertising, and this will be agreed in advance and paid by you in advance of each advertisement.

Home Information Packs are to become compulsory in Scotland this year.  They will include an in depth survey, a report on the suitability of the property for the disabled and also information about heat efficiency.  The form is not yet settled by the Scottish Government.  These packs are estimated to cost between £500 and £1000 each, and it will be illegal to market a property without them.  We are looking for ways to ensure that the cost of these packs is paid when you sell your house, rather than when you put your house on the market.  The Scottish Government believes that the packs will make it easier to sell a property.
